Electrical Grid Monitoring™ (EGM USA) Inc. provides innovative, T&D grid management solutions that include sensing, communication and analytics. Meta-Alert®, the EGM Analytics Platform, delivers advanced applications to manage electric utility grids. Electrical Grid Monitoring (EGM) provides a sensory and analytics platform to monitor transmission and distribution lines from 4kV – 800kv. Meta-Alert® monitors, collects, and analyzes 20+ electrical, physical, and environmental grid parameters in real time and processes this information through our analytics for various applications including visibility, accurate fault detection location, DER Impact, DLR, vegetation encroachment detection, wildfire mitigation, and others. These applications are used to improve reliability and resiliency of the grid with positive economic impact while meeting regulatory compliance. Meta-Alert^®can be integrated with the utility’s systems (SCADA, A/DMS, OMS) for faster and safer response to grid events.

Measure: EGM sensors are the first of their kind to be able to accurately measure voltage within +/- 3% without a physical or ground reference. We provide precision data for voltage, current, harmonics, phase angle, frequency and all critical measurements for overhead and underground grid networks.

Analyze: Meta-Alert monitors, collects, and analyzes 20+ electrical, physical, and environmental grid parameters in real time and processes this information through our proprietary algorithms to give utilities information and therefore improving their operations and saving significant maintenance costs.

Process: We deliver true business value with applications ranging from accurate fault detection and location, DER Impact, Ambient Adjusted Rating (AAR) and Dynamic Line Rating (DLR), vegetation encroachment detection, equipment failure detection, wildfire mitigation, and others.
